1. Agreement
By creating an account, signing in, posting a job, applying, or otherwise using Sakori.org, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
Sakori is a website where employers publish job openings and candidates can read them and apply. We are not a party to any employment contract between a candidate and an employer unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.
2. The service
Sakori currently lets you:
- Browse published jobs (the homepage and job list are public).
- Create a candidate account, keep a profile and PDF resume, apply on Sakori where the listing accepts on-site applications, and track application status.
- Create an employer account, submit jobs for review, manage listings, review applicants, download resumes attached to those applications, and update application status.
- For Sakori administrators: review employer-submitted jobs, publish or reject them, take listings down, post certain listings directly, and deactivate employer accounts.
Full job pages and recruiter profiles currently require you to be signed in. Some administrator-posted listings send you to an official website or an email address instead of collecting the application on Sakori.
Sakori does not currently charge a fee to sign up, post a job, or apply through the website. If that changes, we will update these Terms.
There is no uptime guarantee. Features can change, and listings expire or close.
3. Accounts
There are two account types. They live in separate records:
- Candidate — for people looking for work.
- Employer — for people posting jobs. A Sakori administrator is an employer account with an admin role, not a separate signup type.
The same email address may exist as both a candidate and an employer. Only one login cookie is used, so only one of those sessions is active in the browser at a time.
You agree to:
- Provide information that is accurate as far as you know.
- Keep your password confidential.
- Be the person (or authorised representative) using the account.
- Be old enough to enter a work relationship under applicable Indian law. The website does not collect or check age. If we learn an account is used by someone who should not use a job board, we may deactivate it.
You can update most profile fields yourself. You cannot change the account email from the profile form. You can change your password and deactivate the account from the profile page (password required).
Deactivating an account is described in the Privacy Policy. In short: you lose access; candidate applications stay with the employer; employer listings are closed rather than wiped; the same email can be used to sign up again, which reactivates the existing record.
4. Candidates
If you have a candidate account, you may apply to listings that accept applications on Sakori, using the email on that account. You must not:
- Apply with someone else’s identity or resume.
- Upload a file that is not a genuine PDF resume, or that contains malware.
- Use the cover letter or any other field to harass, defraud, or spam an employer.
- Try to bypass the one-application-per-email-per-job rule in a dishonest way.
Submitting an application shares the details in the Privacy Policy with that employer (and with Sakori administrators). You are responsible for what you send them.
Email confirmation is offered so we can check the address. You can still apply if the address is not yet confirmed.
Application status (pending, reviewed, shortlisted, rejected, hired) is set by the employer. Sakori does not decide hiring. A “hired” or “shortlisted” status on Sakori is a status on this website, not by itself an employment contract.
5. Employers
If you have an employer account, you may post jobs for roles you are authorised to advertise. You agree that:
- Listings you submit are real openings, described honestly, with a real organisation name and contact details you are allowed to use.
- You will not post jobs in order to collect CVs for an unrelated purpose, to charge candidates a fee to apply, or to run a scam.
- You will handle applicant names, emails, phone numbers, cover letters, and resumes lawfully and only for that hiring process.
- You will not publish or sell applicant materials.
- Status updates and next-step notes you write will be accurate and appropriate to send to the candidate by email.
Employer-submitted jobs are not published immediately. Saving as a draft keeps the listing off the public board. Submitting for review puts it in a queue. A Sakori administrator may approve it (it can then appear as published), reject it (you get the reason by email and can revise and resubmit), or later take a live listing down.
That review is a check of the listing Sakori’s administrators perform. It isnot a certification that the employer, organisation, or vacancy is verified, licensed, or genuine, and it is not a promise that anyone will be hired.
You may pause, close, or edit your own listings as the product allows. You cannot mark a job as removed; only Sakori can. You cannot reopen a closed listing. Expired listings can be relisted when the product allows it. Listings posted from the administrator job form are managed from the admin tools, not from the ordinary employer posting screens.
6. Job listings and applications
Published jobs are visible on the public list. A listing leaves the public board when it is paused, closed, expired, rejected, still in review, or removed, or when its closing date has passed.
Contact details stored on a listing are used to run the board and to notify you. They are shown to administrators during review. They are included in signed-in jobs API responses. They are not currently shown on the HTML job page.
Recruiter profiles (name, photo, about, city, address) can be viewed by signed-in users. Do not put secrets in those fields.
One candidate email may apply once to a given job. If a listing requires a resume, the application will not be accepted without a PDF.
Closing a job does not delete applications already received. Deleting an employer account closes listings; it does not erase applications those employers already received.
7. Your content
You keep whatever rights you already have in your profile text, photos, resumes, job descriptions, cover letters, and notes. You give Sakori a non-exclusive permission to host, store, copy (for example, copying a profile resume onto an application), display, and send that content as needed to operate the site — including showing listings, showing applications to the relevant employer, and sending the emails described in the Privacy Policy.
You represent that you have the right to submit that content and that it does not infringe someone else’s rights.
Sakori’s name, logos, layout, and software belong to Sakori. You may not copy the site in order to run a competing service from our files or trademarks.
8. Prohibited use
You must not:
- Post fake, misleading, or unlawful jobs, or impersonate an organisation.
- Discriminate in a listing in a way that Indian law does not allow.
- Phish, spam, or harvest other users’ contact details from the board except as a genuine employer reviewing applicants for that job.
- Attempt to access another user’s account, applicants, or resumes.
- Upload malicious files or try to disrupt the service.
- Bypass rate limits, listing review, or access controls.
- Use automated scraping in a way that overloads or undermines the service.
- Use Sakori to advertise products unrelated to hiring, or to process payments from candidates.
We may refuse a listing, take a listing down, deactivate an account, or refuse an application that violates these Terms or appears fraudulent. Employer deactivation closes that employer’s open listings. We record a reason when we reject or remove a listing.
9. Moderation and termination
Sakori administrators may:
- Approve or reject employer-submitted jobs waiting in review (rejection requires a reason, which is emailed to the employer).
- Remove a listing that should not stay on the board (a reason is required and is emailed to the employer). Removed listings cannot be edited or restored through the ordinary employer screens.
- Deactivate employer accounts.
- Post administrator listings that can go live without the employer review queue, including listings that point to an external application page or email.
There is no in-product “suspend candidate” screen beyond the candidate’s own account deletion and ordinary access controls. We may still refuse or limit access if we must do so to operate the site or deal with abuse, and we may deactivate records in the database.
You may stop using Sakori and deactivate your account at any time from your profile.
10. Third-party services and links
Emails are sent using SendGrid in production (or SMTP in development). Some pages load a script from jsDelivr. Social links go to WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, or a placeholder page. External “apply” links leave Sakori. Those services have their own terms. Sakori is not responsible for their content or for applications you submit off the site.
11. Employment and listing disclaimer
Sakori is a venue for listings and applications. We do not employ candidates who apply through the site (unless a separate contract says we do). We do not guarantee that any listing is still open, that an employer will reply, that a status on the site is legally binding, or that a job is suitable for you.
Marketing language on the homepage (for example “verified” openings) refers to the listing-review process described above. It is not a warranty of employer identity, government affiliation, or vacancy authenticity.
Salary, location, and organisation name are whatever the poster entered. Sakori does not independently confirm them in software.
12. Availability and limitation of liability
The site is provided as it is. We do not promise uninterrupted access, error-free software, or that files (including resumes) will be stored forever. Resume and photo files may remain after an account is deactivated; they may also become unavailable.
To the fullest extent Indian law allows, Sakori is not liable for hiring decisions, lost offers, lost data, or indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site. If a court nevertheless finds us liable, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us to use the site in the previous twelve months (currently none, because we do not charge for the product described here).
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page with a new date. If a change is material, we will also try to make it visible on the site. Continued use after the update is acceptance of the new Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The website is built around Indian phone numbers and a Northeast India job board. If a dispute must go to court, it will be heard in a court of competent jurisdiction in India. The specific city is not fixed in these Terms and may be confirmed by Sakori in a later version.
15. Contact
Questions about these Terms: admin@sakori.org or sakori.org/contact.
