ITI (Electrician) Apprentice

One-year apprenticeship under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for ITI-Electrician passouts. Candidate must have completed the course full-time (not distance/correspondence) within 2 years of the closing date (11/09/2024–10/09/2026), with the result-declaration date and percentage clearly shown on the marksheet. Not eligible: awaiting final results, under 18, already undergone/undergoing apprenticeship elsewhere, or over 1 year's job experience. Training location assigned within the chosen state based on facility availability; no claim to future employment with POWERGRID after completion.

- Register on NAPS at https://apprenticeshipindia.gov.in — complete profile with all documents. - Note your NAPS registration/enrolment number. - Go to www.powergrid.in → Careers → Engagement of Apprentices → Apply Online. - Apply for only one region/state — multiple applications get you disqualified. - No fee, no written exam, no interview. - If shortlisted (merit + 1:5 verification ratio), you'll be emailed for document verification — no TA/DA paid. - On selection, accept the tri-partite contract on NATS/NAPS, submit medical certificate + police verification.
