- Bachelor's degree (any discipline, min. 50% aggregate; preference for Banking/Finance/Agri/IT/Law/Management) plus minimum 5 years as an officer in a bank/financial institution.
- Single-tier online exam + interview. Allotment is merit-cum-preference nationwide, not NE-restricted.

- New Registration → note Provisional Registration No. & Password (also emailed/SMS'd).
- Upload photo, signature, left thumb impression, handwritten declaration, 10th certificate, category/PwBD certificate as applicable.
- Select your State/UT (Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, or Tripura) — this choice is final.
- Pay the fee online (cards/net banking/wallets) and submit.
- Print/save the e-receipt and application form for future reference.
