Qualification: Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical): First-class postgraduate degree in Psychology, Public Health, Social Work or Sociology; OR second-class postgraduate degree in these disciplines with a PhD | Project Technical Support-III: Graduate degree in Psychology, Public Health, Social Work, Sociology or Nursing with three years of experience; OR postgraduate degree in any of these disciplines

Age limit: 18 to 35 years for both positions (relaxation as per applicable rules)

Other: Temporary positions under an ICMR-funded project | Initially 3 months (Dec 2026 to Feb 2027), extendable subject to performance and funds

Additional details

Sikkim Manipal Institute of Medical Sciences (SMIMS), Gangtok, Department of Psychiatry, invites applications for two temporary positions under the ICMR-funded multicentre research project "Implementation and Integration of FOCuS (Facilitating Outcomes in Clinical Settings for Stimulants) Intervention for Stimulant Use in Routine Clinical Care". The tenure is initially 3 months (December 2026 to February 2027), extendable annually subject to satisfactory performance, availability of funds and continuation of the project, up to the remaining approved project duration. Shortlisted candidates will be informed of the interview date.
