Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in installation, troubleshooting and repair of computer systems / hardware and software, LAN / Wi-Fi networks, servers and CCTV (5 years with HSLC; 3 years with Degree / Diploma)

Qualification: HSLC with 5 years of relevant experience, OR Degree / Diploma with 3 years of relevant experience

Skills: Desirable: computer hardware and software certification, computer networking, CCTV skill, audio-visual devices skill. Candidates with experience in similar work in reputed organisations will be preferred.

Age limit: Upper age limit 35 years (relaxation may be considered for deserving candidates)

National Institute of Design (NID) Assam, Jorhat, will hold a walk-in interview for the engagement of IT Technician Support Staff (1 post) purely on a contractual basis. Duties are IT-related: installation, troubleshooting and repair of computer systems / hardware and software, maintenance of LAN / Wi-Fi networks, VoIP, servers and CCTV infrastructure, and other IT-related duties, including inventory management systems. Tenure: initially 1 year; may be extended depending on the performance of the candidate and the requirement of the institute.
