Nagaland University has invited eligible candidates for one position of JRF or Project Associate-I under the DBT-sponsored DBT-NER Advanced-Level Institutional Biotech Hub at Nagaland University, Lumami. The post is co-terminus with the project. Key details: - Post: JRF or Project Associate-I (1 vacancy) - Qualification: first-class M.Sc. / M.Tech. in Botany, Life Sciences or Biotechnology from a UGC-recognised university - Desirable: NET/GATE or a national-level examination qualification, and research experience in Plant Molecular Biology, Plant Molecular Genetics, or Plant Biochemistry / Microbiology - Candidates without NET/GATE will be considered for Project Associate-I as per the applicable DST norms. Walk-in interview: 29 October 2026, 11:30 AM, at the Department of Botany, Nagaland University, Lumami. Candidates must bring an application on plain paper along with self-attested photocopies of relevant documents. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
