The Irrigation Department, Dima Hasao, has invited applications for 23 Grade III and Grade IV posts. Eligible candidates apply offline in the prescribed Standard Form. Posts and vacancies: - Sub-Engineer Gr-I: 1 - Junior Assistant: 2 - Section Assistant: 16 - Khalasi: 3 - Chowkidar: 1 Qualification ranges from Class VIII pass to Graduation, Diploma or ITI, depending on the post. Junior Assistant applicants must also hold a computer diploma certificate of at least 6 months from a recognised institution. Age limit is 18 to 40 years as on 01-01-2026, with relaxation for reserved categories. Applications must be submitted in the prescribed format to the Office of the Additional Chief Engineer cum Council HOD, Irrigation DHAC, Haflong, Assam, either in person or by post.

1. Read the official advertisement and check the qualification for the post you want. 2. Get the prescribed Standard Form from the advertisement. 3. Fill in the form completely and attach self-attested copies of your certificates, age proof and other required documents. 4. Submit the application between 01-10-2026 and 15-10-2026, either in person or by post, to: The Additional Chief Engineer cum Council HOD, Irrigation DHAC, Haflong, Dima Hasao, Assam. 5. Keep proof of posting if you send it by post. 6. Shortlisted candidates will be called for the written examination (Grade III posts) or the oral / viva test (Grade IV posts).
