GRAMEEN SAHARA is a development facilitating organization initiated in ‘support of sustainable livelihood’ in the year 2002. The organization has been incorporated as a not-for-profit organization under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860. Since inception, it endeavours towards bringing significant changes in the livelihoods of the poor and underprivileged through its different livelihood programs.
Location: Chaygaon (Kamrup),Guwahati
Required Qualification: MBA (Finance) or a closely related field
Required Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in working on Community Development Projects and development of bankable proposals and arranging finance
Job Description: Liaison with the banks/financial institutions in connection with working of the FPO’s; Assist the producer organizations to develop & strengthen the linkages with banks & other commercial lending institutions (financial capacity building); Arriving at actual cost of production and net margin desirable through primary processing, competitive pricing of commodities (in close coordination with MIC) moving through CSC & projection of profit & turnover for the activities to be adopted by the producer companies/ organization; Mapping & “as is” assessment of current status of transport and logistics arrangements in the areas of operation; Periodic assessment of volume & value realization of FPOs; Contributing inputs on fund flow system, financial transactions & establishment of a well-defined accountability system for preparation of the Operational Manual and Facilitating M&E requirements.
