SAAS Startup (Tea Industry) recruits Software Engineer in Guwahati Dec 2020

POSITION FOR AN ENTERPRISE TECH (SAAS) START-UP 

ABOUT US 

We are an early-stage STARTUP based in Guwahati (Assam) and working on an EnterpriseTech (SAAS) opportunity within TEA INDUSTRY (>US$ 50 Billion Industry).  

The start-up is backed by a Family Business with considerable experience in the said Industry. The  Family House has promised first 6-8 Enterprise clients for the software once ready for commercial  deployment.  

The SAAS platform will eventually open up several opportunities in AgriTech/Industry 4.0/FinTech  and use AI/ML, IoT, Bigdata Technologies.  

We are looking to meet a passionate techie to join us as a Founding Team Member. We are looking  for someone who  

• has experience and knowledge across back-end, front-end and mobile technologies with an  obsessive desire to build great products.  

• will help us in developing and deploying the solution and iterating it to create a Scalable  Solution.  

WHAT YOU‘LL ACHIEVE 

Work with the Founding Team in building the vision, team and platform & Shape the future of the  company & disrupt a 100-year-old industry.  

• Develop an (IOT/AI/ML/INDUSTRY 4.0 READY) EnterpriseTech from scratch, including the  design, structure, workflows and future optimizations.  

• Participate in (& learn) all aspects of the technology, including technical strategy, technical architecture, best practices & technology stacks.  

• Build & lead the tech team as the company grows  

• Most importantly OWN the product and become a catalyst of the success story  

POSITION – (Based in Guwahati Assam) 

• 1 x Coding Ninja (Python)  

QUALIFICATIONS 

• Graduate from a top tier engineering institute in Computer Engineering  

• Between 2 – 6 years of experience in a coding-oriented role [coding in Python / Java only] / SQL  

DBMS  

• Prior experience in Odoo is a plus

• Prior experience in ERP is a plus plus 

CORE SKILLS NEEDED 

• Strong communication skills in English  

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team  

• Exceptional coding ability in Python / Java  

• Experience with SQL databases  

• Experience with Odoo / ERP.
