Job Description: Seven Sisters Development Assistance (SeSTA) www.sesta.orgis a professionally managed, non-governmental, not-for-profit organization initiated by a group of young professionals engaged in different parts of North-East India. The name SeSTA is pronounced ‘Chesta’ and means ‘Effort’ in Assamese. It was begun with the idea of enhancing the capabilities of vulnerable communities by creating a just and equitable society devoid of poverty and identity-related crises, and by promoting and strengthening institutions in the north-eastern region of India. SeSTA’s mission is to catalyze inclusive and sustainable development in the North-East region of India by enhancing the capabilities of the rural communities.
Name of Post: Programme Associate (MIS). Eligibility criteria: • Candidates with a minimum qualification of graduate degree and 50 % marks (45% for SC/ST and OBC) in last qualifying exam. • Good typing speed • Command over excel and other data management software • IT proclivity Salary/Pay: Gross Salary will be approximately Rs. 13,500 per month + Travel bill as per actual (First 6 months will be on probation).
Roles and Responsibilities: • Master Data entry in SeSTA MIS • Training and hand-holding of Data Collectors • Team-wise timelines • Required to do spot-checks and quality checks whenever required • Required to deal with the troubleshooting requests from the Data Collectors in a quick and efficient manner • Responsible for helping Team coordinators in data analysis and report preparation for different purposes • Responsible for coordination with the Data Collectors, Development cluster, state and the central units • Frequent travel to field (project area).
