Fishery Development Officer/Medical Inspector/Veterinary Officer/Block Veterinary Officer job recruitment in  Assam Public Service Commission (Assam PSC) in the Directorate of Geology and Mining, Assam.

(A) 1. Name of Post: Fishery Development Officer under Fishery Department.

Number of Post: 47 (Forty seven)

Qualification : B.F.Sc Degree from any College/University recognized by the I.C.A.R or D.F.Sc or Master of Science (Fisheries) from C.I.F.E. Mumbai or any other Institute of the I.C.A.R.

Scale Of Pay : Rs. 30,000/- to 1,10,000/- with Grade Pay Rs. 12,700/- plus other allowances as admissible under Rules.

Age : 21 years to 43 years as on 01/01/2018

(B) 1. Name of The Post: Medical Inspector of Factories under Labour and Welfare Department.

Number of Post: 1 (one) No.

Qualification: Degree or Diploma equivalent to a Degree of a recognized University in any branch of Medicine. Experience: The candidates should have at least 2 (two) years in a Public Hospital or Factories, Medical Department or alternatively a Diploma in Industrial medicine.
Scale of pay : Pay Band-4, Rs. 30,000-1,10,000/- (Grade Pay of Rs. 12,700/-)

Age: Candidates must not be below 23 (twenty three) years and above 43 (forty three) years on 01/01/2018.

(D). 1. Name of The Post : Veterinary Officer/Block Veterinary Officer under Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Department, Assam.

2. Number of Post : 113 (One Hundred Thirteen) Class II Gazetted (Junior)

Qualification : Bachelor degree in Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science from any recognized University

Scale of Pay : PB-4 Rs. 30000-110000/- with Grade Pay Rs. 12700/-

Age : A candidate should not be less than 21 years and more than 43 years of age as on 01-01-2018

(E). 1. Name of The Post : Lecturer under Dr.Bhupen Hazarika Regional Govt. Film & Television Institute under Cultural Affairs Deptt., Govt. of Assam.

Number of Post : 06 Nos.

Lecturer Audiography and Sound Engineering (Lecturer Electronics & Telecommunication) /01 post
Lecturer Film & Video Auditing/02 posts

Lecturer Film Direction/02 posts

Lecturer Motion Picture Photography/01 post

Qualification : (i) M.E or M.Tech in Electronic Telecommunication. (ii) Knowledge of Audio-visual Media. (iii) Professional/Teaching experience in this field in recognized Institute/University is preferable.
Age: Minimum 21(twenty one) years and Maximum 43 (forty three) years as on 1 st January 2018 as per Govt.

Scale of Pay : (PB-4) Rs. 30,000/- to 1,10,000/- GP-12,700/-

Application Fees :

Application Fees for all post under the State Govt. of Assam shown as below:

1. For General Candidate : Rs.250/- (Rupees two hundred and fifty) only.

2. For SC/ST : Rs.150/- (Rupees one hundred and fifty) only.

3. Candidates having BPL Certificate : Nil (Candidate having BPL certificate should produce their photocopy of certificate along with the Application Form).

Fees should be deposited only through Treasury Challan in the Head of Account “Non Tax Revenue, Other Non Tax Revenue 0051 PSC, 105 State Psc Application Fee Receipt Of APSC” showing name of post and department. Original copy of Treasury Challan should be submitted along with the application form.

How to apply

The name of the post applied for should be clearly written in “bold letters” in the Envelope containing the application form and it should be addressed to the Under Secretary, APSC, Jawaharnagar, Khanapara, Guwahati-22.

The last date of receiving duly filled up application form in the Commission’s office is fixed on 19/03/2018 during office hours.

About Assam PSC

Assam Public Service Commission came into existence on Ist April, 1937 in accordance with the provision of the Govt. of India Act, 1935 with Mr James Hezelett, a retired ICS officer from London, as its first Chairman. Till framing a new regulation in 1951, five more officers mostly retired ICS officer, held the office of the Chairman for different period after Mr James Hezelett.
