Job Description: 1) To manage the Excise books & records as per the guidelines of Central Excise Department. 2) Maintaining RG 1, RG 23 A part I & II, RG 23 C part I & II, Form – IV, Service Tax Register, PLA Register, U/R Purchase & Sale Register, C.E. Return Data Preparation, Data Analysis, Sales Register, Excisable Returned Goods Register. 3) Maintaining all Central Sales Tax related Records including preparing of Sales Tax Return Data 4) Maintain Road Permit issue/utilization records & C-Form Registers. 5) Stock Reconciliation. 6) Preparing Excise Invoice of materials. 7) Facilitate & Attend excise audits. 8) Liasoning with excise officers and Reconciliation excise records with other departments. 9) Maintaining Forest Goods Register, Vehicles seal register, etc. 10) Ensure the timely completion of outstation works of the Government offices of Nongpo & Shillong circle work, as directed by the management. 11) Proper filing of all papers and records. 12) Maintain and update file lists/papers/records related to Excise, Sales tax, forest, departments. Criteria: 1. Energetic Male candidate with a minimum 2 years of experience in any Manufacturing / Mining or similar Industry. 2. Preferable candidates with MBA, B.Com / M.Com (Commerce Graduate) or Any other formal degree or diploma which gives weight to the above mentioned job responsibilities. 3. Age – 25 – 45 Years. 4. Candidates with prior experience of co-ordinating with governemnt departments of the comissionerate would be preferred. 5. Languages proficiency is compulsory for – English. 6. Self motivated, with necessary good communication skills, practical wisdom and high level of interpersonal skills. 7. Basic working knowledge of Internet, Emails, MS Office – Word & Excel 8. Should be willing to be stationed at Byrnihat, Meghalaya as well as Guwahati, Assam. 9. Salary as per Industry Standards. 15000 – 28,000 per month with suitable Fooding and basic Lodging facilities (in campus), borne by the company. This salary package is indicative only. Actual package would be commanded by the chosen candidate.
