Sashastra Seema Bal Recruitment 2012: 158 Para Medical Vacancies

Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) has issued notification against recruitment of 158 Para Medical Cadre Vacancies of Group-B & C Non-Gazetted (Combatised). Eligible candidates may apply through prescribed application format on or before 31-08-2012. Other details like age limit, educational qualification, application fee details, selection process and how to apply are given below…

Age Limit: Candidates’ age must be between 21 yrs and 30 yrs for SI Post, between 20 and 30 yrs for ASI posts and between 18 yrs and 25 yrs for rest of the posts. Cutoff date for determining age limit would be 31-08-2012. (Age relaxations will be extended as per Govt. rules).

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have completed Matriculation followed by Diploma in relevant discipline from recognised University. For details of required stream in Diploma for different posts and for experience required, refer to the notification.

Application Fee Details: General and OBC candidates need to pay application fee of Rs. 50/- in form of Bank Draft drawn in favour of D.I.G.(Medical), Composite Hospital, SSB Tezpur (Assam) payable at SBI Tezpur (Assam) Code -0195, for posts 1 to 5 and Accounts Officer, SHQ, SSB Gorakhpur (UP) payable at SBI Gorakhpur, for posts 6 to 10.  Fee can also in be paid in form of Indian Postal Order in favour of D.I.G.(Medical), Composite Hospital, SSB Tezpur (Assam) for posts 1 to 5 and Accounts Officer, SHQ, SSB Gorakhpur (UP) for posts 6 to 10. SC/ST/EXSM/Female candidates are exempted from payment of fee.

Selection Process: Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of Documentation, Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Written Examination, Technical Test (Trade Test), Final Medical Examination and Review Medical Examination.
