Applications are invited for a walk in interview to be held in the Conference Room of the Department of Biotechnology on June 21, 2012 at 2:30 pm onward for a temporary position of RA/ SRF/JRF in a DBT, Govt. of India funded project entitled ” Studies on trypanothione synthetase, a key enzyme of redox metabolism of Leishmania donovani.”

Scale of pay :
RA : Rs. 22000+20% HRA
JRF/SRF : As per DBT norms
Qualification : PhD in Biotechnology or related subjects. Candidates with M.Sc/B.Tech/M.Tech or equivalent degree Biotechnology or related subjects will be considered for JRF or SRF. Fellowship for JRF/SRF will be as per DBT norms. Candidates with experience in protein crystallography will be preferred.

Terms : Appointment will be initially made for a period of one (1) year and may be extended for up to maximum duration of the project
