Indian Institute of Plantation Management (IIPM) is an autonomous organization promoted by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India and co-sponsored by the Commodity Boards, viz. Tea Board, Coffee Board, Rubber Board, Spices Board and Plantation Associations viz. UPASI and Indian Tea Association. IIPM has been conceived as a world renowned academic institution focusing in the field of agri-business, plantations, commodity and management education.
Institute offers Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM): Agri-Business & Plantation Management (ABPM), conducts executive development programmes and also undertakes an intensive sector-specific research assignments in the North East and proposes to launch Tea Board of India, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, GOI, sponsored Professional Certificate Program (PCP) on Tea Tasting & Marketing (TTM) w.e.f. April 2011. The Institute is seeking applications from scholars and practitioners with outstanding research, academic, executive management education programmes and administrative expertise for IIPM Centre, Jorhat, on deputation and/or contractual basis for a period of two years, for the position of Associate Professors/Assistant Professors and Lecturers in the area of Human Resource Management, Production & Operations Management, Finance & Accounts and related management disciplines.
